KLÖCKNER & CO SE: SUPERVISORY BOARD APPOINTS MARCUS A. KETTER (44) CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – ULRICH BECKER TO LEAVE THE MANAGEMENT BOARD
Duisburg, September 19, 2012 – The Supervisory Board of Klöckner & Co SE has appointed Mr. Marcus A. Ketter as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Ketter, who has a degree in economics, will take up his duties on February 1, 2013.
After holding several international management positions, Mr. Ketter currently serves as CFO of Schuler AG, a German SDAX®-listed mechanical engineering company. Mr. Ketter will take over the Finance & Accounting, Corporate Controlling and Corporate Taxes departments from Chief Executive Officer Gisbert Rühl, who has also been acting CFO, as well as the Corporate IT department.
Mr. Ulrich Becker, a member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer of Klöckner & Co SE, will leave by mutual agreement at the end of September. The Supervisory Board thanks Mr. Becker for his work over the last several years. His duties will be carried out for the time being by CEO Gisbert Rühl.
